The new trail still needs to be compacted in more and the berm built up so you can make that turn easier. The fence is visible so it forces you to stay uphill and not make a wide turn.

what would it take to get more of the turns inside the renz property burmed instead of out sloped? making them into fast flowing trails?

The Renz trails flow plenty fast, rider ability dictates how much speed you can carry. The intent of the trail design was never to be pinned in 4th/5th gear. More speed equals more trail damage and greater risk of injury.

Rode it today Wes, it will be interesting to see how it holds up with winter upon us. No matter what you do the water will have to drain off trail downhill causing an off-camber. I respect that you, Matthew, and others know how to handle these delicate situations. Bottom line is the trail has to switchback somewhere in that area and riders need to be able to handle a little technical terrain with finesse.

This message is from Anthony Christie 1/5/2013 regarding Garcia Gulch trail conditions. 1/4 mile in on the trail big bad hole on trail needs to be filled in full of water and mud. Stalls riders in their tracks, can be a hazard.

Todays ride revealed a bare off camber side hill with no real trail or "slot" to try and stay in. Riders have gone through the fence and the new re-route now resembles the old trail.

Saturday after the enduro I rode sweep of the final riders. The newest re-route seems to have held up fairly well with all the race traffic. Was this new downhill right hander a planned option or just a short cut that is now the trail? Mike

It's been a year, and the right hander has gotten wider with gravity taking riders further and further to the left. It's becoming a big blown out off camber that will become a huge problem in the wet season. Speed is the cause and there is a small ravine that ricky racer is going to end up in.
