The hillside area to the left of Twin Hill is starting to get some off trail activity. This is a large virgin grassy area that is at risk of becoming a hillclimb zone if nothing is done. The entry at the top of Twin needs to be closed off and the fence repaired on the side of Middle field Road.

Thanks for the post! This is exactly the kind of things we like/want reported on the forum. This helps us stay one step ahead of non-system trail creation.
The cut fence on Middle Field has been patched. Didn't look like too many people had climbed the section, looked like just a few grass tracks.
As for fencing the top of twin you couldn't be more right. I just walked the trail from where the fence was cut and followed it to the first water bar on twin hill. As I'm sure you've notice we have maintenance working on a bunch of fencing in this area of the Adobe. I requested that they add an additional section of fencing to deter future use of this area. Thanks again.

I believe there used to be a fence at the water bar on Twin, but it was inadvertently wiped out by the grader a few years ago. The trail to the right is fun and should remain open in my opinion.

I believe the trail to the right of twin after the first water bar is scheduled to be fenced as well.. However, this could change as the fencing hasn't been installed. The issue with the trail to the right was that it leads to the hill climb area (facing cienega off of Lower field) that was just recently closed for rehabilitation. I can see what we can do to accommodate the trail to the right.

The left hand trail when coming over the first water bar on twin has been shut down.
