Thank you, Chris. Track lasted well into the afternoon.
If possible, braking bumps are still a problem @ end of front straight, and more importantly, the riders would appreciate a little more lift on the jump.
We are gearing for June 6, the Rat Pack Family Picnic. Famous guys will be there. Come have a hot dog.

The picnic was splendid, but the boys were unhappy with a newly-graded track. 'Death cookies,' they said. I was happy with the chocolate chip variety, and all those fine young men in their snazzy riding costumes. But the older boys insisted that grading needs to be done about three days earlier than final form, and that water needs to be applied in the fashion of a three-day continuous drizzle. Not sure what they mean by that, and I watched the truck driver return several times with lots of water, but still, even I can see that the dirt is kind of like dough. To make it all poufy and nice, it takes time, patience, and a little bit of artistry. Some day you should try some of Auntie Hermione's home-made whole-wheat turkey dumplings, and maybe you'll understand. And oh, yes... the Hot Dogs were great.
