The TT Track will be temporarily closed for maintenance. We will be pulling the split rail fence so that our operator can grade that track to allow for better drainage. The fence will be reinstalled and the track will be ready to open by Thursday afternoon/Friday morning.

Very nice! Thank you. Good job, all that sort of thing. BTW, there will be a small memorial for Gene and other Rat pack types Sat, June 7. 10 AM.

Just an FYI. Sat the 7th is when the H.H.O.R.A. Six Hours of Hollister is to be held. Some of us wont be able to attend the memorial who otherwise would have.

Thursday 5-29 follow-up 3PM Texture is crazy on the front straight. Medium chunks of hardened clay. Do we have any piece of equipment that can break 'em down into smaller chunks?
& Not to worry, Robert. It's mainly the Rat Pack guys paying their respects. Thank you for your concern, and your time with the 6hrs.

I will mention it to Anthony this week. I have seen him in the past drive laps with the water truck to wheel pack the whole track

7-12-14 Yay! Those chunks on the front straight are nearly pulverized. Seems like moisture is required to make 'em squash down. And with limited water, what you guys are doing seems to be working pretty well. The riders are mildly pleased, and most are accepting the consequences of a dry year. Thanks for the effort.
