This is copied from a post on Rat Pack, re: TT track conditions 5-10-14
Water use is being severely limited in State Parks. Observe that all faucets in the campgrounds have been removed and capped. I am advocating the use of Potassium Chloride (?) - (I might prefer Calcium Chloride) on the TT track in the same concentrations used on the main road. This makes possible a durable blue groove, but nothing short of a monsoon season will get back a tacky cushion. How do you say (?), Save water: share a shower

Hi Blair,
We are planning out putting down a product called dust-off which we have used on the main roads in the park in the past. I plan to apply it to the TT track and some of our other flat tracks such as radio ridge. Not sure how well it will hold up but we should be putting it down in next few weeks.
