Wow, it's dry everywhere. But the Rat Pack is seriously contemplating an official Rain Dance. Any suggestions would be warmly welcomed. Offerings, chants, aromatherapy, (please, no live animal sacrifices), spells, incantations, possessions, infatuations, obsessions, (but please, no addictions), even confusion and inebriation are all welcome. Any Saturday morning at the TT Track. Just look for the guys who go round and round. They think it has something to do with Karma. Whatever.

I checked out the TT track yesterday. It seems that some riders are going into the first sweeper turn and stopping. Then they go across the field and jump over the berm and land somewhere in the infield. This is the first right hand turn after the tree. I am not too sure on how to stop this. Very dangerous.

Sounds very similar to what goes on up at the Radio Rdg oval track. Ride around in the infield and use the side of the jumps to launch on/off the track.

What do you think about a 'stay on track sign' that way we can pass the message along to the rangers and the can begin to enforce it?

That is certainly the best starting point Scott. Stay on Track, No Infield riding.

Not so sure about Frank's description of "dangerous." Certainly this would be true if there are others on the track, and those others would most likely yell at the dangerous guy, same as they might when somebody is riding out of control. Possibly more dangerous is the common presence of small kids on little bikes at the same time that 450s are doing very serious laps.
The kids danger is usually cleared with a word, or even just a look, directed at the parents. And there is a sign at the gate about small displacement. But for these other yahoos maybe the sign should read: No More Berm Jumping (except by accident). Or how about: Keep Off The Grass?
