What is everyones thoughts on the Vintage Track?
Is there certain characteristics that make a Track... Vintage? like banked turns or loose sand. Is there anything that our track is missing?

The plan for the Vintage Track is to create a 150cc and less mid range kids track. To get some of the older kids off the radio ridge track and create something a little more interesting than an oval for the kids that are still not ready for the big leagues. Then the Vintage track will be re-routed to be about the same length and have some more interesting turns, elevation changes, and small tabletop jumps. The fencing on the attached map is not exact. 10-4 I saw trucks with dirt today at the Vintage Track. Is this transformation finally starting? Just curious.

I spent the weekend at Hollister. The vintage track was in very good condition. I walked around the new section and it is coming along very nice.

New section was open today (Saturday). MX riders will obviously have more relevant comments than my own, But..... I couldn't find the exit. No, seriously. Couldn't find where to exit the track. Is it a perpetual motion machine? Sure is fun. Just kept going round and round....

Yeah, I thought so... But flat trackers don't know how to do that. Hee hee

I spent last Monday and Tuesday at the park. The vintage track is coming along nice. The brush removal is looking very good. Still more work to be done.
I talked to Bruce about how to exit the track. They are going to add and exit lane to the right of the last corner. A sign will be posted so everybody will know where the exit is.
We talked about changing the first corner after the start area. A small change can make that better.

The vintage track has dried out and is looking very good. We still need to get more sandy dirt onto the track.

The vintage track is working ok. The sand needs to be worked in. That will just take some time. The track is a bit shorter than before. I was looking at some places where we could expand the track.

I noticed an area on the vintage track where riders have been cutting the track. They have knocked down a small section of the split rail fence. It is located about turn 3 on the track.
