10-19 We still have some nasty little braking bumps starting in the middle of the back straight (! Who hits the brakes way back there?), and also in the approach to the right-hander. If there's any time available, it'd be nice if those things could be flattened out.

10-26 Bumps better, thank you. But our stand-in water truck driver, possibly unaware of the fickle nature of The Tree Turn, left us a greasy low line which claimed three or four get-offs before noon. Gene knows. Chris knows. Anthony does what he can. The shade from the tree, and the particular soil in that corner, will often conspire to create an unexpected hazard.
An expert rider hurt himself there today. He got surprised on what was obviously too fast a first lap. But this brings up some contemplation about the Tree Corner itself. Yes, we (Rat Pack) have trained our water guys to go easy on the tree corner, but with the approach of wetter weather, it might be cool to consider a little modification.
Drainage will soon become a major problem. And in every part of the TT Track there is an exit for excess water --- a culvert system. Wow! Why don't we just optimize it? The Tree Turn is possibly the worst culprit in this regard. But if I might make a couple of suggestions, I think a much steeper banking, along with some pea-sized gravel stirred into the soil (just at that corner) would keep the low line from becoming hazardous. Drainage needs help right there.
The rest of the track needs attention in grading, or if you like: Banking, starting now. All parts of this park feature should be banked a little more severely to the inside. Please take into account the low spots adjacent to the existing culvert system. Without adequate banking and drainage, this Park Feature will be un-rideable for the entire winter season.
I Know this is an excessively long post. My apologies, but that track is very special. The guys who ride it think so too. And we are always pleased with the positive responses from HH personnel.
